Ans1 Kaku's secret was that he always used to walk to school to meet his friends Lal Hawa.

 No one in the village knew about his secret, not even his Amma.

Ans2 Kaku loved Lal Hawa's red paint, it's fast-moving wheels and the chuck sound it's made.

Ans 3 Kaku was sad because his school teacher had told him that their village was too small for the mighty Lal Hawa to stop.

Ans 4 Kaku could not believe that Lal Hawa had stopped at his village because it never used to stop at his village.

Ans 5 Flying here means that Lal Hawa was moving very fast on the track and along with it. Kaku was also moving.

Ans 6 Kaku's mother had tears in her eyes because Kaku was happy as his friend Lal HawaLal Hawa had stopped at his village and his dream had come true.

Exercise C

Ans1 Maybe Kaku's prayer was heard and Lal Hawa did not get a green signal to move on.

Ans 2 I think everyone was shouting and cheering on seeing Lal Hawa because it was the first time that Lal Hawa had stopped at their village_chhoti Dadi.
